A WORLDWIDE UNIQUE MODEL
Building 5 at our Ciriè headquarters is an enormous 22-metre high automated warehouse.
This colossus, the only one of its kind in the world in terms of mission, was designed and built for us by ECS Material Handling (www.ecsitalia.net) for the storage and handling of engines and their supporting saddles.
The warehouse consists of self-supporting metal shelving, slave pallets, stacker crane with pallet handling fork, loading and unloading bay. The self-supporting shelving is capable of supporting both the external cover and the products stored inside. The bays, arranged in 4 rows and 8 levels and designed to support a maximum of 760 kg each, accommodate industrial engines for all applications (generator, sprinkler, off-road). The maximum capacity is 1,248 motors.
Thanks to the interface developed by Reply (www.reply.com), our warehouse communicates smoothly with our management system and manages the motors in stock with FIFO logic.
